Here’s the upper-level floor plan—both Primary Suite Bedrooms are equally spacious and generously sized, designed as mirror images of each other. These two primaries share access to the Upper Level Deck.
For the biggest reveal… we’re keeping the Lookout Tower design a surprise 😉 But what we can tell you: the 360° views are absolutely stunning—this is one of the highest vantage points on the island. Catch sunrise over the Gulf & sunset over the Bay!

We are painting the kitchen cabinets this lovely color. Everything is a work in progress in the kitchen.

This kitchen will have everything from toddler dinnerware to champagne glasses. Photograph is from another home we own but will be applicable to Sunrise Sunset Retreat.
The dining area is designed for everyone to come together: 14–15 seat at the tables plus 6 at the kitchen island. After a full day of beach time and island adventures, gather for dinner, linger a little longer, and share the stories from your day.
The living room is made for cozy nights in—featuring an electric fireplace and a 75” smart TV for game days and movie marathons. And yes… there are a few fun surprises in here you’ll have to see in person!
This hallway bath is being upgraded into a full bathroom—a spacious, centrally located option that’s perfect as a shared bath for the main level.

Main Level King Bedroom – The Shorebird Wake up to amazing beach views and step straight out to the main-level deck for salty breezes and morning coffee.
Main-Level Primary King Suite – The Shell Room A spacious king suite with a private bathroom, incredible beach views, and direct access to the main-level deck for sunrise coffee and ocean breezes.
This full bathroom is private bathroom to the main-level Primary Bedroom The Shell Room.
The Fishing Pier bedroom has been through a few fun design revisions (we couldn’t decide😉), but here’s what’s set: it will feature two Twin-over-Queen bunkbeds. You’ll also love the bayside balcony access, a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, & glowing sunset views.
April 1 update - I’m hanging wallpaper in the bunk room. This will be two XL Twins lofted over two Queen beds. My brother is building custom lofts.
Jack-and-Jill Bathroom conveniently located between Bedroom 3 – The Fishing Pier and Bedroom 4 – The Crab Shack for easy shared access.
A fun, flexible space with two twin daybeds + pull-out trundles—perfect for kids, teens, or anyone! Enjoy bay balcony access, a shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom, and incredible sunset views that light up the sky each evening.
A spacious retreat with private deck access, 55” smart TV, private coffee bar, and a cozy electric fireplace. This king suite also features a private bathroom, making it perfect for guests who want a little extra comfort.
The Seafarer Primary Suite is nearly complete. Carpet is being removed April 1, and LVP will be installed next week.
The full bathroom for the upstairs Primary Bedroom 5 — The Seafarer — has been refreshed with a more modern, updated look.

Upstairs Primary King Suite – The Intracoastal: Spacious king retreat with private coffee bar, cozy electric fireplace, and a 55” smart TV. Step onto the upper-level deck for amazing beach views—or stay tucked in and watch the sunrise over the water!

Upper Level Office Nook - Located on the upper-level landing, this office space is perfect for anyone who needs to sneak in a little work time—without missing out on vacation.
Stairway to the Lookout Tower - The best surprise awaits up here—your climb to SSR’s incredible Lookout Tower. Note: flooring, paint, and finishes will be updated! No carpet anywhere!

Main-Level Deck Outdoor Living Dine alfresco with seating for 14 on the main-level deck, plus a cozy conversation area for 4 and 6 chaise lounges for soaking up the sun. Everything is set against sweeping Gulf-water views.

Shaded Patio-Level Hangout - Downstairs under the house, you’ll find a patio-level dining table and a propane grill—a cool, shaded spot for easy meals and laid-back evenings.

Beach Gear + Rinse Station Beach gear is stored downstairs in the storage closet, so sandy, salty items stay out of the house. After the beach, rinse off with the outdoor shower or hose before heading back upstairs—easy, clean, and convenient.
Laundry Room - A full-size washer and dryer make beach days easy. One more perk: once the updates are complete, there will be no carpet anywhere in the house—fresh, clean, and vacation-friendly.
Family-Friendly Baby Gear No need to pack it all—Sunrise Sunset Retreat includes a high chair, Pack ’n Play, and kid-friendly plastic dinnerware. Just bring your own baby sheets, please.

Quiet, respectful neighborhood — please drive slowly in the neighborhood.

Not a party house. Galveston has strict regulations: noise complaints can result in removal with no refunds

Trip insurance strongly recommended (because life happens)

$750 security deposit hold placed 5 days before check-in

Security cameras: doorbell + four exterior cameras at corners of home (no interior cameras)

Rental Agreement + Liability Release required within 24 hours of booking

No pets (maintains our dander-free standard)
